Russia: Brand-new Sukhoi-30 SM fighters join Black Sea Fleet in Crimea

Three newly-made Sukhoi Su-30SM aircraft showed off their fire power after flying out of the Novofedorivka military air base in Crimea, Tuesday, following their addition to Russia's Black Sea Fleet's aviation group.

The three aircraft were designed at the Irkutsk Aircraft-Building Plant, with their crews undergoing training in the Russian town of Yeisk.

SOT, Pavel Gorbachev, chief of communications of aviation squadron: "A full group of naval aviation aircraft SU-30SM has been created in Crimea. It is able to perform a wide range of combat tasks in all weather conditions. The crews are engaged in combat training with the actual use of weapons on land and air targets."
